Perfectionist Already?

Being raised by two firstborns is bound to throw Caitlin through a couple loops, but who knew our perfectionist tendencies would already start rub off on her! It seems she's overly worried about her hygiene--falling asleep with comb and toothbrush in hand.

Or maybe it's that she's obsessed with her vanity? She hears how cute she is all the time...it could be going to her head..! Oh no, that must be it. Gotta stop this trend before it gets out of control!! :)

Here she is after a recent "mealtime" (and yes, that's rice cereal, her first solid food, all over her face!). It's a mystery how much she actually swallows but it at least seems like less is coming back out after going in!

What's New: We Flew Through the Zoo!

We enjoyed a sunny Saturday at the huge zoo in a city about an hour and a half away from Dresden. The Leipzig Zoo is well known in this area as one of the best zoos around. Caitlin's best friend Mirja was there too!

We've started using the "Sporty" seat for our stroller sometimes, and Caitlin loves it! Now she can see what's happening in the world around her AND her feet simultaneously. She sat like this for a good five minutes before finally lowering her leg for a bit!
